Terms and Conditions
- Acceptance of Terms. By creating an account or using Kwizaa, you agree to these terms.
- Eligibility and Accounts. You are responsible for your account activity and for keeping your login details secure.
- Acceptable Use. You agree not to use the service to abuse, harass, spam, or violate applicable laws.
- Club and League Data. Club owners and league managers are responsible for configuring leagues and inviting members with appropriate permissions.
- Subscription and Billing. Paid plans renew automatically until canceled. Prices and plan features may change with notice. Payment processing and subscription billing are handled by Lemon Squeezy (Lemon Squeezy, LLC), who acts as the merchant of record for all transactions. By purchasing a paid plan you also agree to Lemon Squeezy's Terms of Service.
- Intellectual Property. Kwizaa, including branding and product code, is owned by us. You keep ownership of content you upload.
- Service Availability. We aim for high availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service.
- Limitation of Liability. To the maximum extent allowed by law, Kwizaa is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
- Termination. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or create risk for other users.

Privacy Policy
We collect account details (such as name and email), club and league configuration data, quiz responses, and billing metadata needed to run the service.
We use this information to provide Kwizaa, process payments, improve the product, and communicate important service updates.
We do not sell personal information. We only share data with trusted processors and integrations needed to operate the product (for example, Lemon Squeezy for payment processing, PostHog for product analytics, and infrastructure providers).
To understand how people use Kwizaa and improve it, we record product events with PostHog, hosted in the United States. These are actions like finishing a practice round, signing up, creating a league, sending an invite, playing a quiz, or upgrading a plan, along with the page you were on. If you're signed in, these events are linked to your account ID. They never include your name, email address, or answers you type. We don't record your screen or clicks, and we ask PostHog not to keep your IP address. Because this data is stored in the United States, it is transferred outside the UK and EU under safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
Our analytics store nothing on your device: no cookies and no local storage. The only cookie Kwizaa sets keeps you signed in. We don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
We keep data only as long as needed for legitimate business and legal purposes. You may request account deletion by contacting support.
You can request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data by emailing support@kwizaa.com.
We use industry-standard safeguards, but no platform can guarantee absolute security.
Refund Policy
- Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring monthly cycle unless otherwise stated at checkout. All payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, who handles applicable taxes and VAT as the merchant of record.
- You can cancel any time. Cancellation stops future renewals and your paid access remains active through the end of the current billing period.
- Payments are generally non-refundable except where required by law, or in cases of duplicate billing or clear payment error.
- If you believe you were charged in error, contact support within 14 days of the charge date so we can review your case.
